Elliott’s offers groceries, alcohol, hardware, paint, gas, a post office , and general supplies for locals and tourists alike. The motto heard in our community has been ‘if Elliott’s doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.’ It has always been our mission to provide fast service and good prices without losing what makes us unique. We are family owned, family operated, and enjoy modeling true Island hospitality. The original land and building have gone through over a century of changes and renovations. The current building was built between 1945 and 1946 owned and operated by the Mossey family. In 1985 Russell and Donna Elliott moved from Ontario to retire in their favorite vacation spot. They purchased the store and it became Elliott’s General Store. In 1996 it was purchased by their son Rusty and his wife Linda. Through the years they’ve built a new section on for hardware, renovated their grocery section, and hope to continue expanding to keep up with growing demand.
